Boating Courses...

Our Public Education Officer (email address shown below) is in charge
of our Public Education boating safety courses. We conduct these
courses frequently each year. A schedule of our current courses with
a brief description is shown below.

About Boating Safely (ABS) is a basic boating safety course. Upon successful
completion of the course and exam, the student will be entitled to receive
a NJ Boating Safety Certificate, which is now required to operate a power
boat in New Jersey.

Enrollment details/requirements:

1. Photo ID or Driver's License required for Adults. School ID or some other form of ID required for minors.
2. All students are required to bring a pen, pencil and self-addressed stamped envelope.

The envelope is used to mail you the New Jersey Boating Safety Certificate.
One envelope for multiple students at same address is okay.
