Vessel Safety Checks (VSC)...

Do you have all the equipment required by law on your boat?
Do you know what is not required but will save your life?

Obtain a free vessel safety check and we will advise you of the mandatory
equipment you need and what additional recommended gear would be great to have.

A partial list of many items we check for on your vessel:

* Proper vessel registration documentation and number placement on vessel
* Navigation Lights, Personal Flotation Devices, Fire Extinguishers
* Proper ventilation on vessels equipped with inboard or I/O engines
* Flame Arrestor and engine compartment on inboard or I/O engines
* Flares and other Visual Distress Signals
* Marine Sanitation Devices/Galleys on vessels so equipped

Additional Recommendations:

* First Aid Kit, Anchor, Fuel Management, Accident Reporting
* VHF Marine Radio, Contacting NJ State Police or CG Auxiliary
* Float Plan, Mounted Fire Extinguisher, GPS Navigation Equipment
* De-watering Device or Pump, additional lines
* Boating Safety Courses
